WordPress 主题提交经历
虽然没更新 Elegant Box 和 Blocks 两个主题, 但其实我已经向 WordPress Theme 中心提交了好几个版本的主题文件了. 全部没通过, 嘲笑一下自己. 
每提交验证一次要 2 到 5 个工作日, 贸贸然提交就是浪费自己的时间, 每次提交还得给主题升一个版本. 遇到问题和解决问题的过程是经历也是经验, 我下面就简单分析一下, 希望下一个提交者不会再走这样的歪路.
Blocks 主题提交经历
Version 1.4.3
- Screen shot doesn't show what the theme looks like
Screenshot 不是截图. screenshot.png 必须使用 Blog 截图, 并且是 PNG 文件.
- Doesn't respect the core WordPress Gravatar option
众所周知, 我的主题是支持头像的, 2.5 以下都支持. WordPress 主题的预览应该不能更改数据库资源.
Version 1.4.4
- Doesn't respect the core Gravatar option
估计是因为我那个选项的问题, 默认的情况下 null == false, 所以没显示出来. 所以去除了那个功能.
Version 1.4.5
- "Please make sure to keep the CREDIT LINK." - license must be GPL or compatible. And that alert window is just annoying
由于太多人去署名链接, 
我加了个小机关, 竟然被测出来了, 理由是不兼容 GPL. 所以诸位也不要耍小滑头.
Elegant Box 主题提交经历
Version 2.1.2
- Doesn't show the blog tag line
没有处理副标题 (标语). 应该需要支持副标题显示.
- References files that don't exist:
themes/elegant-box/styles/default.css
themes/elegant-box/styles/global.css
两个 CSS 文件不存在, 正确的路径应该是:
themes/elegant-box/styles/white/default.css
themes/elegant-box/styles/white/global.css
如果 Blog 可以访问数据库的话, 不会有这样的事情发生. 所以评定它的预览不能使用数据库资源.
- Body of the page over laps the menu navigation at the top
也许是他的感观问题, 不存在该问题. 但由此判断, 主题会经过目测, 也就是说布局不能错乱.
Version 2.1.3

- Theme preview does some strange thing where it switches to showing your blog instead of the blog it's being previewed on. That must be fixed.
由上一个原因引起, 主题去除署名链接会转跳到我的 Blog, 难怪最近 IP 值有所上升. 
后话
我已经改掉了那个署名链接的机关, 重新提交了. 能不能通过可能要等到下个周末才有结果. 如果不能通过, 我会继续更新本文. 如果主题提交成功, 传说 WordPress 2.7 中将可以在后台更新主题. 
最后, 称赞一下 WordPress 团队的测试质量, 也希望某些人能够尊重他人劳动成果.

* Themes may optionally include a public-facing credit link in the Theme footer.
* If used, Themes are required to include no more than one such footer credit link.
* Credit link, if used, is required to use either Theme URI or Author URI.
* Credit link anchor text and title are required to be relevant and appropriate with respect to the linked site. Spam or SEO-seeded anchor text and titles may subject Themes to automatic rejection.
Please note that any future submissions containing SPAM or SEO-Seeded anchor/title texts will be automatically rejected and your username suspended as well.

Please do not resubmit this Theme. It is clear that you have no intent of adhering to the Theme Review guidelines, and have for the third time blatantly disregarded the credit link requirements.
The WordPress? Theme Repository is not the place for distribution of Themes whose sole purpose is SEO keyword-seeding.

不是的, 可能我说得不够清楚.
是因为我以前做了手脚, 不允许别人修改或者去除作者署名.

就是一般在 footer 部分, 注明谁是主题作者的部分.
麻烦指点一下“署名链接”是什么意思？
